Art Department:
Welcome to the PROSBO Art Department. We hope the information you find here will help you in setting up your files and preparing them for printing.

Please follow these steps:

     1. Use a supported Program.
     2. Set guides to ensure a proper fold.
     3. Make sure images are set to CMYK.
     4. Make sure that to build in a bleed if needed.
     5. Send us all fonts and supporting files that you are using in the document.


Programs Supported:
We support both Mac and Windows platforms and the following programs. Quark, PageMaker, InDesign, Acrobat, Corel, Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Publisher and Word. If you are using a different program then the ones listed please give us a call and we will see what we can do to help you.

Types of Folds:
There are many types of folds. Common folds are 1/2 folds, letterfolds, "z" folds, and gate folds.  You project will determine what type of fold is best.

Types of Binding:
There are four types of binding that Horton Printing offers, Perfect Binding, Saddle Stitching, Coil, and GBC.

Pantone Colors:
We offer full color offset printing, which is a combination of cyan (blue), magenta (red), yellow and black to provide the full range of color possiblities.  We also offer Pantone Matches if you need it. 

Keep in mind, however, that it is often more economical these days to use the CMYK process to "build" a close proximity to a Pantone Match. 

If you are in need of an absolutely correct color match to your chosen PMS color, then printing with your specifically mixed PMS ink will be necessary (and it will cost a lot more).

Paper:
Our house stock for most projects is 100# gloss.  Cover stocks range from 100# cover to 16 point.  Any specialty paper can be selected as well.
